Todays outfit was a great lesson in colour offset. I started with two opposing forces-warm greys and cool blues. This juxtaposition started a conversation, but it was the two levels of each colour within the outfit, that made the conversation worth having (or in this case worth wearing). The bright blue intarsia popped against the dull, icy hue of the coat-while the light grey marl of yarns in the sweater, played into the rich tone of the skirt. Finished the look with chestnut loafers to balance out my brown locks and voila - everything came together.
